在日米軍マンガ第２部、出ました。
「わたしたちの同盟」第２号、やっと出ましたね。大佐、お疲れ様です。(^^;

前号の後半部分は在日米陸軍に焦点をあてましたが、新号は在日米海兵隊ですね。あっ、やっぱりまりたんが不採用ですね。残念。でも海兵隊さんもとってもカワイイので、結果オーライかな？(^_^;
余談ですが、実際女性海兵隊員にアホ毛・みだれ髪があんなにあったら、叱られますよ。規則上、「清楚で女性らしい髪型」を目指すべく、襟より下に髪を垂らしてはいけないし、みだれ髪は最小限に抑えなければなりません。みだれ髪は基本的にジェルやスプレーでガチガチに固めます。
女性海兵隊員の髪型は大きく２種類に分かれます。一つ目のスタイルは私のように髪をあまりいじりたくない隊員は、襟に当たらない程度のショートやボブにします。二つ目のスタイルは長く伸ばしたい隊員で、きちんとまとめたお団子にします。結んだ髪でも襟の下に垂れたらアウトなので、ポニーテールは完全ＮＧです。（ていうか、ポニーテール自体がでっかいみだれ髪扱いです。）あと、前髪は眉より下はダメだし、自然の髪の色以外に染めてはいけない。もちろん、ＧＩジェーンのような丸坊主も「女性らしくない」ので、禁止です。まー、まだまだ規制はありますが、これくらいにします。要は、戦闘中に髪が邪魔にならないヘルメットのようなカチっとしたヘアスタイルです。(>_<)
個人的にマンガの海兵隊さんの髪型がとてもキュートで好きですよ。エヘ(*^_^*)

The previous issue highlighted the US Army in Japan, but the newest issue focuses on the US Marines in Japan. As suspected, Maritan wasn't used. Too bad. But Kaiheitai-san (Marine-san) is really cute, so I guess it's all right? (^_^;
This is off-subject, but if a female Marine had a lot of stray hairs sticking out everywhere, she'd get her butt chewed. According to certain regulations, a female Marine must have a "clean, neat and womanly" hairstyle, which basically means that no hair should hang lower than the collar and stray hairs must be controlled to a minimum. Stray hair is usually hardened in place with gel or spray.
Female Marines tend to fall into two major hairstyle types. The first style is for lazy folks like me who don't want to mess with their hair and keep it short or in a bob. The second style is a bun for those who want to grow their hair out long. Even tied hair can't dangle lower than the collar, so the ponytail style is a total no-go. (The ponytail itself is sort of considered to be a big stray hair anyway.) Also, the bangs shouldn't hang lower than the eyebrows, and you're not allowed to dye your hair in colors other than your natural hair color. Of course, shaving your head like GI Jane isn't "womanly", so it's definitely not allowed. There are more rules, but I'll stop here. Basically, the hair should be like a helmet, ie. not get in the way during combat. (>_<)
Personally, I like Kaiheitai-san's very cute hairstyle. Eheh. (*^_^*)
