New York Timesに「軍曹喫茶」が…？！

私の友人で「Action Girl (アクション・ガール)」と言うインディーズコミックスで大変お世話になったSarah Dyer（セーラ・ダイヤー）さんから、興味深いニューヨークタイムズの記事(６月２５日）を送ってくれました：(NYT英語) Service With a Wink to a Japanese Fad (ウィンクでサービスする日本の流行)。

最近日本で流行のメイド喫茶の特集なんですが、その中にバカうけしてしまった文はこちら：
One of the latest is a sergeant cafe, where diners must salute and say “yes, sir” to stern waiters in military fatigues.
その中で最近出たのは「軍曹喫茶」であり、お客は軍服を着ている厳しいウェイターたちに敬礼しながら「イエス、サー！」と叫ばなければならないらしい。

アハハハハハ！ヤバイ！それ私とR先輩のことじゃん！アハハハ、ニューヨークでネタにされちゃったよ！セーラさん、情報ありがとうございました！おかげで今日はガチおなかが痛いです。(^o^)

Sarah Dyer, my friend and editor who took really good care of me in her small-press comics "Action Girl Comics", sent me this intriguing New York Times article (25 Jun 08): (NYT) Service With a Wink to a Japanese Fad.

It covered the recent fad of maid cafes, but I LMAO after reading this excerpt:

Ahahahahaha! Holy crap! He wrote about me and R-sempai! Ahahaha, we freaking made it all the way to New York! Sarah, thanks for the info! My stomach will ache all day today. (^o^)
