黒一点。

先日の海兵隊記念式典の撮影会にて、貴重な画像をゲット。参加していた職場の配偶者らが集合写真を撮ろうということになったんですが、その際、うちの旦那が唯一の男性配偶者ということが発覚した。別に隠してたわけじゃないけど、たしかに女性従業員の中で私が唯一の既婚者だったなぁと改めて認識したのである。(^^;

奥様方はそのことを知ってかなりウケたらしく、旦那を無理やりグループの真ん中に立たせ、写真を撮った。周りも苦笑しながら撮影してたので、彼女らは調子に乗って、旦那を横にしてそのまま持ち上げたんです！スゲー！(>_<)

仕事の都合上、夫人会（正確には配偶者会）の定期的なお茶会とかミーティングに参加できない旦那ですが、これを機に今度の集会に参加すれば人気者間違いなし！でも英語あんまり喋れないから絶対行かないだろう。(^_^)
The only guy in the crowd.
At the Marine Corps ball the other day, I acquired a precious photo. At the ball, the spouses from my workplace decided to gather for a group photo, but in the process, the other spouses found out that my husband was the only male spouse in the crowd. I never intended to hide my hubby from the others, but I guess I am the only female employee who is married. (^^;

The wives really got a kick out of this fact, and dragged my hubby into the middle of their group for the photo op. The other people were chuckling as they snapped pics, so the girls took it up a notch and carried my hubby sideways! Holy crap! (>_<)

Since my hubby works, he can't attend the periodic wives' functions (or more accurately, the spouses' functions), like coffee and meetings, but I'm sure he'd be a popular guy if he ever goes to one! But I'm sure he'll never go, since he barely speaks any English. (^_^)
