ナイフホルダー。

以前購入したナイフホルダーをやっとカベに設置しました。見た目はおっかないんですが、けっこう便利なモノです。(^^;

穴に差し込むタイプと違って、磁石で包丁の刃をくっつけるので、乾燥が速く、ばい菌やカビが生えにくいらしい。うちのキッチンはほとんど飾りのない殺風景な場所なんで、コレで少しは洒落た感じになったかな？(^_^)

Knife holder.
We finally put up the knife holder that was bought a while back. It looks really scary, but it's really easy to use. (^^;

Unlike the knife blocks where you stab knives into preset holes, this holder holds the blades with its magnet strip, so the knives dry off quickly and tends to prevent growth of bacteria and mold. Our plain old kitchen doesn't really have any decorations, so I hope this little gadget adds some spice to the place. (^_^)
