後輩、羽ばたく。

先日、後輩から転勤したというメールをもらった。彼が求めていた仕事環境が見つかってよかった。(^_^)

でも本文をよーく見たら、私なんかより偉い階級に昇進した模様。スゲー！先輩の私をドーンと飛び越えたんだね。でもなぜか悔しさよりはむしろ嬉しさを感じます。何でだろ？やっと巣から羽ばたく小鳥を見て悲しさより嬉しさを感じる親鳥の心境みたいなものなのかな？(^^;

まー、何はともあれ、栄転おめでとう！後輩よ、新しい職場で頑張れ〜！く(^_^)

Kouhai off to a new start.
The other day, one of my kouhais emailed that he transferred to a new job. I'm glad he finally found a good job that met his needs. (^_^)

But when I read through the email, I noticed that he picked up more rank than me. Wow! He leapt right over my head. But for some reason, instead of feeling jealous, I'm actually happy about that. I wonder why? Maybe it's similar to the kind of feelings parent birds might have, being more happy than sad to see their baby bird finally fly out of their nest? (^^;

Well anyway, congratulations on the super promotion! Good luck in your new job, my kouhai! く(^_^)
