ストパニ・マリみて海兵航空戦隊？！

私が以前Okazuブログにインタビューされた際に、自分が元海兵隊員でストロベリー・パニックのマンガを翻訳してると言ったら、soulassassin547さんがマクロス7のVF-11Cサンダーボルトのデザインを、「ストパニ・マリみて海兵航空戦隊」にアレンジしました！ありえないけどメチャおかしい！百合と戦闘機の組み合わせはかなりグ〜です！ｄ(^o^)ｂ

うーん、航空司令部の場所は、見晴らしの良いストパニのアストラエアの丘がバッチリかもね。あと、聖ミアトル女学園、聖スピカ女学院と、聖ル・リム女学校の３校は実はパイロット訓練所だった…と言うガンバスターの設定をパクった、とてもベタな同人誌がありそうな、なさそうな…。しかしストパニとマリみての学校のロゴが、飛行隊のロゴに自然に見えるのは、私だけ？

StoPani-Marimite Marine Fighter Attack Squadrons?!
When I was previously interviewed by Okazu, I mentioned that I was a former Marine and was translating the Strawberry Panic manga, so soulassassin547 tweaked the designs of the Macross 7 VF-11C Thunderbolts to look like "StoPani - Marimite Marine Fighter Attack Squadrons (VMFA)"! OMG, what crackheaded fun! Who woulda thought of slapping together yuri and fighter planes - very goood! d(^o^)b

Hmm, the location of the air wing headquarters should have a good view, so StoPani's Astraea Hill would be too perfect. Also, the 3 all-girl schools, St. Miator Girls Academy, St. Spica Girls Institute and St. Lulim Girls School, were actually pilot training schools... and a totally predictable dojinshi with a Gunbuster-like setting (ripped?) could exist, or not... But is it just me, or do the StoPani and Marimite school logos really look like actual squadron logos?
