海兵隊創立記念式典の準備。

今週末、うちの基地で海兵隊創立記念式典をする予定です。先週から客席の設定やら、日本語パンフの翻訳やら、お客様との連絡やらで、大忙し。(>_<)

海兵隊の創立を祝うのは好きですが、こーゆー社交的な場にはほんとは出たくないんです。でも毎年かならず何十人もエスコートしなければならない始末なんで、仕方なく強制参加です。(T_T)　

…まー、何だかんだ言ってもしょうがないんで、できるだけ楽しむようにします。(^^;

Marine Corps Ball prep.
We plan to have the Marine Corps Ball at our base this weekend. Since last week, I've been running around like crazy, helping with the table layout, Japanese program translations, contacting guests, etc. (>_<)

I like to celebrate the establishment of the US Marine Corps, but if at all possible, I'd rather not attend big social events like this. But of course, I end up escorting dozens of guests every year, so I have to attend as a "forced volunteer." (T_T)

...All that said, I'll make sure to have at least some fun out there. (^^;
