意外な接点。

この間、竹内まりやのExpressionsのCDセットを購入しました。母が私と一緒に２枚目のCDを車の中で聞きながら「コレ、サスペンスとかCMの曲じゃない？」と幾つかの曲を知ってたみたいです。テレビつながりで来たか…(^^;

CDケースは車になかったんで、「何曜日のサスペンスだったっけ？」とか「何の商品のCMだったっけ？」って、家に着くまで話が盛り上がりました。(^o^)

普段は演歌しか聞かない母と、Jポップ大好きな私が、同じ音楽で盛り上がるのなんて滅多なことではないので、とても貴重なひと時でした。竹内まりやさん、ありがとうございます。(^_^)

Expressions (通常盤)

Unexpected common ground.
I bought Takeuchi Mariya's "Expressions" CD set a while back. When me and my mom were listening to the second CD in the car, she asked, "Isn't this song from one of those commercials or murder mystery shows?" about several songs. So she recognized it from TV, eh...? (^^;

The CD case wasn't in the car, so we had a lively conversation trying to figure out which day of the week that particular murder mystery show came on or which product the commercial was promoting and such. (^o^)

For a mother who usually only listened to enka, and for a J-Pop loving daughter like myself, it was a precious moment to be able to get excited over the same songs. Thank you, Takeuchi Mariya. (^_^)
