「コール オブ デューティ モダン・ウォーフェア２」英語版が良い。

「コール　オブ　デューティ」シリーズやその他のシューティングゲームは、けっこう好きです。ってゆーか、そればっか遊んでます。(^^;

まー、ロープレやパズルも好きですが、それはさておき。

今回の「コール オブ デューティ モダン・ウォーフェア２」は、前作と同じく英語音声・日本語字幕と思い、購入しましたが…日本語音声にびっくり。ゴツイ米兵が自衛官のように日本語で指示を出している…うわぁ、すごいシュール、そして違和感あり過ぎ。旧日本軍の特攻隊が「万歳！」みたいな雄叫びではなく「Die motherf*ckers!」って言う感じの違和感です。前の作品全て英語だったのに、これは意外な変化球でした。(*_*)

とりあえず一通りゲームを遊んだが、さっさとGEOに売り、英語版を購入した。こーゆー時PS3は便利ですね、英語版のPS3ゲームを日本のPS3で遊べるもん。(^_^)

で、英語版のゲームで再戦。うーん、やはり米兵は英語でガーガー言うのが自然で、聞きやすい。こうでなくちゃ。

教訓：今度ゲームを購入する前に、言語・字幕をチェックすること。ウッス。(-_-;

I like playing shooting games like the "Call of Duty" series. Err, actually, that's pretty much all I play. (^^;

Well, I do play RPG and puzzle games, also, but anyway.

I bought "Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2" thinking that it had English audio with Japanese subtitles as usual, but... the Japanese audio was totally unexpected and bizarre. The burly American Soldiers are spouting orders in Japanese like the Japan Self Defense Force personnel... wow, absolutely odd and really out of place. Kinda like kamikaze pilots yelling, "Die motherf*ckers!" instead of "Banzai!" or something. The previous versions were all English audio, so this was a big surprise. (*_*)

After playing through the Japanese version once, I sold it to GEO, and bought a US version instead. PS3 is convenient for times like these, because I can play American PS3 games on a Japanese PS3 console. (^_^)

I played through the US version this time. Yup, it sounds quite natural and easier to hear the US Soldiers hollering in English. Good stuff.

Lesson learned: Before purchasing a game, pay close attention to the language setup. Argh. (-_-;
