先日、アリゾナの友人と１０年ぶりにチャットしてるうちに、懐かしさのあまり大学時代のことをいろいろ思い出してました。

それで、大学のアニメサークルのメンバーらが書いてた「らんま１/２」ファンフィクのために絵をちょっと描いてたことを思い出し、検索したらまだネットで保存されていてビックリ。(*_*)

それっきり同人誌・ファンフィク系の絵を描かなかったが、一つ教訓になったのは、私は他人の作品の絵柄を真似することはできないということです。要するに自分の個性を入れ過ぎてしまうことですね。人の顔描いても私か家族に似てしまうのです。もうちょっと画力をアップせねば。(T_T)

My old fanfic art.
The other day, as I chatted with a friend in Arizona that I haven't talked to in 10 years, I began to recall a bunch of college year memories.

One of the things I remembered were the pics I drew for "Ranma 1/2" fanfics written by a few local anime club members, and when I searched online, I was surprised to see the pics still floating around. (*_*)

I haven't drawn pics for fanfics/doujinshi since then, but one big lesson I learned was that I can't copy art drawn by other manga artists. Basically, I put too much of myself into the art. Whoever's face I draw ends up looking like me or my family. I really need to work on improving my drawing skills. (T_T)
