何度もを言うように、私はBLが苦手ですが、なぜかこのマンガの翻訳を頼まれました。同性愛のテーマは全然OKですが、出てくる美男子キャラが生理的に受けつけられないんです。特に、殴ったら割れそうなあの細いアゴがダメです…。(^^:
でもでも。上の点はさておき、この作品は私なりに楽しめました。高校卒業間近のバンド仲間の男子4名。将来を模索しながら、お互いの感情がぶつかり合う、とても甘酸っぱい青春物語です。各エピソードは、それぞれのキャラが主役の目から見た物語で、同じ時間帯を４つの視点から楽しめました。幸い、BLファンはガッカリするかもしれませんが、際どいシーンが少なかったです。巻末には、「へー、このキャラはこうゆう職業に就いたんだ」とか「このキャラとこのキャラが引っ付いたんだ」と関心しました。続編ができそうな感じの設定作りでした。
私みたいなBLに関する素人でも楽しめた作品です！もしよろしれければ読んでください！(^_^)

As I've mentioned previously, BL usually doesn't work for me, but I somehow ended up translating this title. I'm perfectly fine with gay themes, but I just can't handle the pretty boy characters in these sort of stories. Especially the fragile jaws that look like it'll crack open when punched... (^^;
But. But. Personal preferences aside, I really enjoyed this title. Four boys in a band, about to graduate high school. A bittersweet youthful coming of age story about boys clashing emotions with one another as they think about what the future holds for them. It was fun to read each episode, which is told from each character's viewpoint, providing 4 different perspectives of the same timeframe. Luckily for me, but possibly disappointing for BL fans, there weren't too many graphic scenes involved. At the end of the book, I thought, "Oh, so this character now works in this industry," and "So this guy and that guy ultimately hooked up." There was enough material in the setting that a spinoff could be made.
This was a story that even a non-BL reader like me can enjoy! If you have a chance, please read it! (^_^)
