（英語版）シュガープリンセス第１巻本日発売！
当初、「シュガープリンセス」と聞いて、「あんみつ姫」のことかな？と思いました。しかし時代物ではなく、フィギュアスケーティングの現代的な物語でした。(^^; しかも「花ざかりな君たちへ」（花君）で有名な中条比佐也先生が描いたではないか！スゲー。
でも、また私らしくない少女マンガの翻訳をしちゃいました。なぜ少女系ばかり担当されるのだろう？？本当はアクションやギャグたっぷりの少年マンガを翻訳したいんですけどね〜。ぼやきはさておき…
えっ、感想は？とてもキレイな絵で、主人公の栗木麻綾ちゃんの根性はとてもグ〜です！d(^_^)b

At first, when I heard the title "Sugar Princess", I wondered if it was about "Princess Anmitsu/Sugar Princess" or something. But it wasn't a period story, but rather, a very modern figure skating series. (^^; On top of that, it was drawn by none other than Nakajo Hisaya-sensei of "Hana-Kimi" fame. Wow.
Hmm, I guess I ended up translating yet another girly manga. Why do I get so much shojo stories?? I'd really love to translate shonen series with lots of action and gags. Oh well, let's put my rants aside...
Eh, what did I think of this series? The art is beautiful and the protagonist, Kurinoki Maya has a lot of guts, which is very goood! d(^_^)b
