ピーチボーイ。

at least it’s not ”Peachy Buttchee

知らなかった・・・「桃太郎」って英語で「ピーチボーイ」だったなんて。(*_*)

ルー大柴的に言えば、たしかに「ピーチ」から生まれた「ボーイ」だけどさ、もうちょっとセンスのあるネーミングなかったのかなぁ?直訳過ぎて、かなりアレです。(^^;

Peach boy.
I didn't know... the Japanes fable "Momotarou" (Peach Tarou) was translated as "Peach Boy." Wow. (*_*)

I suppose if we described the story the way the Japanese comedian Ruu Ooshiba weaved English words (in quotes) into a Japanese sentence, it'd sound like this: A "boy" who was born from a "peach." But, wasn't there a better way to translate the title? It's so straightforward, it's strange. (^^;
