こっちの方が好き。

昨日のアレは置いといて…私はこっちの方が好きです。英語版「アライブ」第７巻のことですよ、もちろん！(^_^)

私の好きなパワフル女子キャラ、楠奈美ちゃんの過去が明らかに…！イラっとくるキャラが２名ほど出てくるんですけど、それはどうでもよくて。とにかく奈美ちゃんはカッコいいし、超可愛い！(>_<)b

話は変わりますが、本誌では着実とエンディングへ向かっていますが、英語版はまだ半分にも至っていません。経済不況のせいか、昨年ぐらいからアライブのみならず、アメリカで出版されるマンガを出すペースがだいぶ落ちましたね。ライトノーベルに手を出す出版社もかなり減っちゃってるし。日本に比べたらもともとマンガ・ラノベの部数が少ないのに、出す頻度も減らしたら、どうなっちゃうの？(T_T)

…去年からマンガ翻訳の仕事を減らしておいて良かった。翻訳以外の仕事が常にあって正解です。(-_-;

Alive 7: The Final Evolution

I like this one better.
Let's put aside what I introduced yesterday... I like this series more. I'm talking about the English version of "Alive" volume 7, of course! (^_^)

My favorite strong girl character, Kusunoki Nami, reveals her past...! Well, there are 2 characters who are irritating as heck, but forget them. Nami-chan is really cool and absolutely cute! (>_<)b

On a different note, the series in the original Japanese omnibus is gradually approaching the end, but the English versions haven't even reached the halfway point yet. Not sure if it's because of the economic slump, but since last year, a lot of US publishers slowed down their pace of releasing translated manga, including Alive. And it seems like many companies are hesitant to put out light novel translations as well. Compared to Japan, the number of issues released for manga and light novels are way less anyway, so if they're released at a slower rate, what's gonna happen? (T_T)

...I'm so glad I reduced my manga translation workload from last year. Viva non-translation day job. (-_-;
